All classes, except the Wednesday classes, are by pre-registration only and held in my private yoga studio. I limit the size of my classes so that I can attend to each person’s unique needs. Please contact me in advance to confirm the availability in these classes. Drop-ins are only available with prior confirmation.

TUESDAYS: Kripalu & Yin yoga

Kripalu Yoga uses classic Hatha yoga postures, breath work, mindfulness, and relaxation. What defines Kripalu Yoga is its emphasis on following your energy, practicing compassionate self-acceptance, developing witness consciousness, and taking your experience of yoga into your daily life. Kripalu Yoga is adaptable for all body types, ages, fitness levels, and interests and takes into account each person’s unique body, individuality and personal expression.
Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga that uses postures to stretch and stimulate the deep connective tissues of the body. Yin yoga postures are supported and held for up to 5 minutes. This introspective practice increases your flexibility, opens your joints and enhances your sense of presence. It is truly a mindfulness practice of letting go of both the physical and mental tensions we store inside.
WEDNESDAYS: Empowering Yoga™

In Empowering Yoga I apply evidence-based principles of a trauma-sensitive approach to yoga and meditation. These principles are designed to alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression and trauma and to increase the resilience of critical task performers working in high-stress environments. THURSDAYS: Restorative/Therapeutic yoga
9:30am to 10:30am
Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga uses active relaxation to “massage your body from the inside out”. By liberally supporting you with props, I will alternately stimulate and relax your body to move toward balance. Restorative/Therapeutic yoga is particularly beneficial for those times when you feel weak, fatigued, stressed, or are moving through a difficult life transition, illness or injury: or when you simply want to be nurtured in a deeply relaxing environment. I integrate, iRest guided meditation and hands-on healing in the tradition of Thai Yoga Massage into these classes.

Cultivate your meditation practice program explores the underpinnings of meditation, introduces you to a variety of meditation and mindfulness techniques and provides practice and discussion time. If you are interested in this program, contact me.
